We recently donated time and materials to Lions 4 Kids House, a non-profit organization located in Bonney Lake, WA.
Early in January the Pacific Northwest area was hit with a wind storm that knocked out powerlines, trees and blew debris over many communities in the Puget Sound area. Nearly 400,000 homes were without power for more than 24 hours as a result.
Some buildings, including the headquarters to Lions 4 Kids House were damaged by the wind storm—especially their gutters and roof.
Their mission statement
To provide children in need with great clothes, personal care items, school supplies and other resources so they are nicely attired, clean, groomed and outfitted for learning unencumbered by derision and ridicule from their peers, thereby boosting their self-image and potential for success in school and thus, in life.
