CR Gutters, Inc

Here at CR Gutters, Inc., we understand the importance of transparency to our customers. Therefore, we have made this Disclaimer mandatory for all customers. This allows all customers to be aware of the issues that may arise that CR Gutters, Inc. does not cover.

-Payment terms

Full payment due upon completion. CR Gutters requires a credit or debit card prior to scheduling (3% convenience fee will apply). If you would like to pay with cash or check and we do not receive payment within 7 days, CR Gutters will process the card on file

-Flashing

Proper installation of gutters requires the back edge of the gutter to be installed behind all existing roof flashing.
The homeowner has been advised that, in order to properly install the gutter behind the flashing, CR Gutters must carefully lift or pry the existing flashing. While every effort will be be made to avoid damage, this process may cause the existing flashing to bend, crack, crease, or otherwise become damaged. CR Gutters is not responsible for any damage to existing flashing resulting from the proper installation of the gutter system.
To achieve the highest and most secure installation possible, CR Gutters installs its hidden hanger screws through the existing flashing and into the fascia board. This method helps keep the gutter high and tight against the fascia while also securing the flashing back into place.
At the customer’s request, CR Gutters can install over the flashing, which we don’t recommend. Water will run behind the gutter and some daylight will show between the gutter and fascia boards.
If you have a new build less than a year old, please check with your contractor if they will void your roof warranty if we pull the flashing.
If your home has stucco fascia board, CR Gutters can’t pry the flashing and will have to install the gutter over it. If we pry flashing on stucco fascia, it will damage the stucco fascia. In this application, some water will run behind the gutter.

-Expansion and Contraction

Any gutter runs installed over 40’ long will not be warrantied against expansion and contraction.  We advise all customers on site about this.

-Installation

CR Gutters, Inc. does its best to make sure all customers are happy with the gutters they receive. There are a few things we cannot help. When installing new gutters, they may not look exactly like the old ones. Visual grade may look different due to sagging or settling of the home in areas. You may be able to see daylight behind the gutters. We install gutters to properly flow roof water. Downspout locations will be in the same location unless otherwise specified, screw holes and paint lines from the old gutters and downspouts are not the responsibility of CR Gutters, Inc. We do not use the same holes for installation, this is not the proper way to fasten new gutters. You may see old paint lines; we will try to cover these but again this is the responsibility of the owner.

-Metal Roofs

CR Gutters, Inc. is not responsible for any damage or scratches to metal roofs. We try not to walk on metal roofs at all but in some cases, we need to. Flashing on metal roofs must be held out 1/8” or gutters need to be installed prior.

-Color selection

All color selections are the responsibility of the customer. CR Gutters does not control the color of the interior of your gutters. The inner color of our coils may vary, and can include shades such as green, red, or blue, depending on several factors including the supplier and current aluminum/steel mill operations. These variations are beyond our control and may result in slight differences in color.

-Warranty 20 year material / 5-year labor

We provide all customers with warranty packets after the job is complete that goes over the details. One important factor to note is “mother nature” is not covered.Proper installation of gutters requires the back edge of the gutter to be installed behind all existing roof flashing.
